If OpenCart emails about new orders, registration confirmation or password recovery go to spam or do not arrive at all — that is a direct loss of customers. The problem most often is that OpenCart sends mail via PHP mail() by default, and most mail servers reject or mark as spam messages without SPF/DKIM signatures.
We configure SMTP sending for OpenCart and ocStore via a reliable mail service: Gmail, SendGrid, Postmark, Mailgun or own SMTP server. In parallel we configure SPF and DKIM for the domain.
For small stores (up to 500 emails per month) Gmail or Zoho Mail is suitable. For medium and large stores — we recommend SendGrid or Postmark: free tiers up to 100–1000 emails per day, detailed delivery statistics.
