Traditional Facebook Pixel relies on JavaScript in the buyer browser. With ad blockers and iOS 14+ restrictions, a significant portion of conversions go unrecorded. Facebook Conversions API (CAPI) sends conversion data directly from server to Meta, bypassing the browser — providing a much more complete picture of ad effectiveness.
We connect Facebook CAPI to OpenCart and ocStore with event deduplication: browser Pixel and CAPI work together, but Meta receives each conversion only once.
After CAPI connection ad campaigns receive more complete conversion data and optimise better. Typically Event Match Quality rises from 4–5 to 7–8 points, reducing conversion cost.
