Fraudulent orders in online stores are not just financial losses but wasted manager time, payment system issues and risk of merchant account blocking. Manual checking of every order is impossible at scale, and simple rules (IP blocking, email verification) are bypassed by fraudsters in seconds.

Signals We Analyse

• IP address mismatch with delivery address
• Multiple orders from different accounts to one address
• Unusually large orders from new accounts
• Rapid repeat orders after cancelled transactions
• Behavioural signals: overly fast form filling (bots)
• Disposable email addresses, VPN/Tor traffic

Actions on Detection

Suspicious orders are not blocked automatically — they receive a flag and are forwarded for manual manager review. This minimises false positives and does not affect real buyers. The system learns your store specifics over time.
